"Enjoying the classes that I have attended so far at this lovely studio. Classes are not too big and instructors are very attentive. Would recommend".
  • I have never done any yoga or pilates before. Where should I start?
I recommend that you sign up for our trial pass. This way you get to explore all our classes and instructors to see what you like. Just because the name does not say beginner does not mean the class is not for you. All our classes are suitable for beginner level the teach will adapt the class to suit your needs. So pick at least one yoga and one pilates class that suits your schedule and I am sure you will enjoy it.
  • I am unsure if I will be able to do the exercises?
Our instructors are skilled at adapting the class to suit your needs. The only requirement is that you can get on and off the floor. We have blocks and bolsters to make positions easier for you to achieve. The classes are suitable for everyone with no previous experience.
  • Do I need a mat?
No, we provide all the equipment to save you any hassle. Some of our students bring there own mat and that is fine but it is not required.
  • What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear comfortably clothing, loose trousers or gym leggings, a top and bring a fleece with you just in case.
  • What should I expect at my first class?
We ask for you to arrive 5 minutes early. You will be guided to drop your belonging in to our changing room and lockers, and the teacher will check your medical form and discuss the layout of the class.
  • Will the teacher know about my medical history?
Yes the instructor has access to the medical form you have completed online.
  • What is yoga and pilates?
Yoga focuses on mindful movement. We utilise set poses to improve your mobility and strength and guide you through breathing principles to optimise movement. Pilates is an exercise that focuses on core strength and stability. It helps to reduce pain and improve posture. Both these types of exercise are low impact, mat based and great for everyone of all abilities.

Meet Natalie

BSc Hons Physiotherapy, MACP, Physio-Led Yoga Teacher

Natalie established Flex & Flow studio with a deep understanding gained from her physiotherapy career: mobility and strength are essential for a pain-free life. Through her experience, she recognises the apprehensions individuals have about attending classes whether it be the feeling of needing to be ‘flexible’ to attend, unsure if they will manage the exercises and generally feeling ‘out of place’. Her studio aims to create a supportive environment where everyone can feel at ease and begin their journey towards improved health and well-being.
